The contracts between super heavyweight Alexander Povetkin and Vladimir Klitschko were signed, the meeting of outstanding boxers will take place in three months - on October 5, 2013 in Moscow at the Olimpiysky sports complex. This is with reference to the organizers of the battle reports the agency "R-Sport".

Negotiations between the Russian side that won the bid for the right to hold a duel, and the promoters of Klitschko Jr. lasted more than two months. The list of major differences included three points:

! A committee that “oversees” a fight and makes decisions on controversial issues. The Ukrainian side insisted on the participation of the German Boxing Union (BDB), the team of Povetkin - the Committee of the Russian Federation of professional boxing and the WBA supervisor.

Team Klitschko demanded participation of foreign agencies (NADA or WADA) for both boxers and testing only after the fight; The Russian side insisted on intermediate tests and control of Russians by the agency RUSADA.

Now all disputes are resolved, the parties came to a consensus, and, as noted promoter Alexander Povetkin Vladimir Hryunov, today "the dream of millions of fans has become a reality."

We will note that many legendary boxers of the past years will be invited to the autumn match of Povetkin-Klitschko as guests of honor. In particular, FPBR Vice-President Andrei Ryabinsky said in an interview with R-Sport that he plans to “make an offer” to Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Roy Jones, Lennox Lewis and many other eminent athletes.
