Named the possible causes of the death of the An-2, who disappeared in the Urals in June 2012

At the moment, the investigation considers two main versions of the An-2 crash in the vicinity of the city of Serov in the Urals in the summer of 2012: a malfunction of the vehicle or a piloting error (or both factors in the aggregate). Weather conditions, as the cause of the disaster, were excluded. This was reported on May 6 by the Ural Investigation Department.

Named the possible causes of the death of the An-2, who disappeared in the Urals in June 2012On June 11, 2012, the An-2 (owned by Avia Zov from Chelyabinsk), without notifying anyone, rose into the air and disappeared.

On board the aircraft, presumably, in addition to the pilot were 12 passengers. Among them - the head of the traffic police Serov Dmitry Ushakov.

As ITAR-TASS reminds, the search operation in 2012 was carried out for more than five months, until November 13. Rescuers (both aircraft and hiking search teams) surveyed more than a million square kilometers, including the waters of Lake Deep.

Gennady Cheurin, head of the Center for Environmental Survival and Safety from Yekaterinburg, helped in the search for a specialist of unique qualifications. He saved some children who had lost their way in the forest near Krasnoturyinsk.

Detect the missing An-2 was only by chance. On May 5 of this year, hunters Sergey Scriabin and Alexander Kuznetsov, who were searching for places in the forest for new hunting grounds, stumbled upon the wreckage of an aircraft, taking them at first as a fallen power transmission tower.

It turned out that the disaster occurred just 8 kilometers from the take-off location, but the impassable marshland had previously prevented the search for a plane.

The governor of the Sverdlovsk region, Yevgeny Kuyvashev, issued a decree on the payment of a million rubles to the families of each of the victims. Hunters Scriabin and Kuznetsov waiting for monetary incentives.
