The leap year 2012 is now a thing of the past - a year marked by many significant events, both in the “high” areas and in the personal life of each of us. How are the Russians going to meet the next one year 2013?

Where and how do Russians celebrate New Year 2013On the eve of the long-awaited holiday, the Research Center of the Superjob.ru portal asked such a question to adult citizens of Russia.

Most of our compatriots (56%) plan to celebrate New Year at home according to tradition: a laid table and a blue light. Most of the loyalty to this scenario is kept by the respondents of the older age group: among Russians from 45 years old there are 70%, up to 24 years - only 43%.

8% of us will find the New Year on a journey: 5% in another city, 3% even in another country; 4% - in the country, in a country house.

On the streets of native cities, merging with folk festivals, 3% of citizens will go out, only 1% will go to a rest home.

Interestingly, the number of Russians is steadily increasing, in general do not consider the night of December 31 to January 1 holiday: in 2008 there were 5% of such, in 2010 - 6%, today - already 8%.

Well, 16% of respondents at the time of the survey (December 12-13) did not know where and how they would spend the first night of 2013.

However, no matter where the celebration takes place, most of us (74%) are going to listen to the President’s address: 33% (36% of women and 30% of men) - attentively; 41% - by the edge of the ear.

Houses and apartments 72% of Russians January 1 will decorate the Christmas tree, with 51% of citizens put artificial - "Ecology above all"! A live Christmas tree, according to respondents, is an attribute of a children's holiday.

75% of us are going to not only congratulate our relatives and friends on the holiday, but also give presents. And although, of course, the main attention, 38% of Russians "to help Grandfather Frost"Will give from 1,500 to 5,000 rubles, and 14% - more than 10,000 rubles.
