October 31, while receiving a bribe, the deputy dean of the Faculty of World Politics of Moscow State University M. V. Lomonosov Associate Professor Mikhail Basharatyan and Head of the Department of Philosophy and Political Science, ATiSO Professor Victor Baris.

Today, the Investigative Committee of Russia has filed both official charges.

It all started with the fact that a young man turned to the law enforcement agencies. He said that Baris and Basharatyan demanded 30 thousand euros from him for help in applying for and receiving postgraduate studies at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations (taking into account the subsequent defense of his thesis at Moscow State University).

All further actions of both young men and teachers were under the control of the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

After passing one of the entrance exams, the young man brought the promised money to the cafe, where both the defendants were detained.

Meanwhile in defense of your teacher (note, already dismissed from Moscow State University), sixty-year-old Mikhail Karpovich Basharatyan, graduates and students faculty of world politics. Support groups are organized in social networks, collective letters are written.

Recall that if the charge of “receiving a bribe on a large scale, by a group of persons by prior agreement” is proved, both teachers face huge fines or up to 12 years in prison.
